But I still found time to paint. It's a late one and I haven't felt my best today. But, today is a blessing and I am so glad that I was able squeeze in some time. Using a pallet knife I worked and reworked this canvas. I originally wanted to paint these bright red roses that are in our front yard. But I just didn't like where the work was going. So I chose this bright bloom instead. I just wasn't satisfied with the painting I started last night, so I painted another one! That is what this challenge is about, pushing myself and taking chances. I still can't believe I ha ve been posting these everyday. But, posting them has been such a motivation. Thanks to all of you who have been cheering me on. My sweet husband brought home a bouquet of my favorite flowers today, wildflowers and roses. The bouquet included a beautiful red sunflower and here it is.
